What is Epicater?

Epicater is a food concierge service. We connect teams looking for family style meals to top local restaurants in the GTA and Kitchener-Waterloo. Unlike online ordering platforms, we’ll take on the work to ensure that your experience is hassle-free. 


How does Epicater work?

We connect you to a food expert that will ask about your office’s needs and restrictions. Using that information, we build you a custom proposal with menus tailored to fit you. From there, your Epicater food expert will book and supervise the first few catering sessions to ensure that your team is taken care of.


What kinds of restaurants do you work with?

Our vast list of local vendors includes top restaurants, food trucks, private chefs and caterers across the GTA. From Ethiopian to Filipino to Sushi, we’ve got it all. And hey, if you’re just looking for some good ol’ fashioned pizza and wings, we’ve got that too (baked in a wood oven, of course). 


I do not see any menus on your website. How do I place an order?

Great question! To place an order, all you have to do is fill out the handy dandy form below. You see, were prefer to make our menus custom for each order so it’s best to touch base with one of our food experts first. 


Can I place an order a day before the catering?

Although we are able to fulfill orders within 24 hours, we prefer 48 hours notice before an order. That way we can work with our vendors to create the best solution for you. 


Can I cancel or change my order once it is placed?

Plans can change and we understand that. Please provide as much notice as possible to make changes. If you need to cancel an order and there’s no way around it, please do so within a 48 hours or more from your event start time. 


What is the minimum order you require?

We typically require a minimum order of $300. However, this can be adjusted on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances.


What are your hours of operation?

Epicater’s HQ operates during Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm. During nights and weekends our food experts are reachable via email.


If my order has not arrived what do you do?

Timeliness and craftsmanship is extremely important to us. We hold our vendors to very high standards and are in close contact with them throughout the entire process. If anything goes wrong during an order, we work swiftly to correct it.
